Power FAM Flying - 25 September 2019

23/9/2019

Who: All Cadets (who signed up)
When: September 25th 2019
Where: Main Terminal: Boundary Bay Airport
Dress: Appropriate civilian attire
OIC: Capt Khan, Z

Description

Part of the cadet program is to be given the opportunity for a familiarization flight. Familiarization flying includes a detailed pre and post flight briefing. During the flight cadets are introduced to the primary aircraft controls and how they maneuver the aircraft in flight. Cadets will be given the opportunity to fly straight and level, maneuver the aircraft in turns and get a description of the flight instruments.

Please sign up on the sign up board for the shifts. Cadets will meet at the main terminal at Boundary Bay Airport NLT 1745hrs. If the pilot isn't their please wait as he may be delayed getting the aircraft signed up and fueled prior to the flight. If you are running late due to traffic or decide you can no longer attend please contact Capt Khan, Zakir at 778-877-9226. This will allow us the opportunity to possibly fill the seat with another cadet or stop a delay waiting for you to arrive at the airport. Cadets are to be picked up again from the Main Terminal at Boundary Bay Airport at 2000hrs.

We may be a bit late returning depending on our departure time and traffic patterns in the lower mainland area. Cadets are to wear appropriate civilian attire and are welcome to bring a water bottle and or camera. Questions to the undersigned.
