The Air Cadet effective speaking program is an optional activity, which trains cadets in organizing and expressing their ideas, developing their leadership skills and self-confidence, and giving them skills that become immeasurably useful in other areas of their lives. Cadets prepare for an annual local competition in February, which is their first step in qualifying for Wing, Provincial and National level competitions.
