525 Pathfinder Squadron Has a New Fundraising Initiative!
The Squadron Sponsoring Committee is asking for everyone’s help during these challenging times.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to fundraise in our usual manner of holding tagging days.
There is good news! We have come up with a very easy (and cost-free!) way for you to help our squadron replace those needed funds.
We have set up 525 Pathfinder accounts with FlipGive and FundScrip through which you can purchase gift cards that you then use to pay for everyday items you are already purchasing. Consider your gas and groceries as a starting point! Both programs offer gift cards for purchases at Starbucks, Esso, Real Canadian Superstore, Amazon, and many other major retailers and restaurants.
You will receive FULL FACE VALUE of your gift cards, and the Squadron automatically receives donations from the relevant fundraising provider (FlipGive or FundScrip). In other words, this fundraising costs you nothing!

- If you choose FundScrip, create your supporter account & setup FundScrip as a payee on your online banking.
- If you use FlipGive, create your team member account and add the Flipgive app to your mobile device: https://www.flipgive.com/app
- Start with a card of your choice - for example, a reloadable Esso/Mobil gas card. You can add Esso Speedpass so you can link your gift card and pay at the pump.
- Next add a Starbucks or Tim Hortons card for your regular coffee.
- Add a Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore or Safeway card for your regular grocery shopping.
- Remember our fundraiser and use gift cards for retail purchases online or instore at Amazon.ca, Indigo, Hudson's Bay, Old Navy, Sport Chek and more…
