The squadron will be holding a summer camp information night for all cadets who have been selected to attend a summer training course. The information night will be held on Tuesday, June 11th, at 103 Thunderbird Squadron (1513 Forbes Ave, North Vancouver). Please note this is NOT our usual training location.
Cadets are expected to attend with their parents. The presentation will run from approximately 1900-2000 hrs. Dress: Cadet are expected to come in appropriate civilian attire. If cadets required any uniform parts to be exchange prior to summer training, they are expected to bring these uniform parts to the presentation for exchange. A mess dinner is a formal dinner held to mark a special occasion, filled with Air Force customs and traditions.
Our annual unit mess dinner will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, at St. Chistopher's Church (1068 Inglewood Ave, West Vancouver). Please note this is NOT our usual training location. Cadets to arrive at 1800, dinner to be seated by 1830. Dress: Males shall be in mess dress: uniform tunic and pants, with white dress shirt and black bow tie. Females may elect to wear an appropriate formal dress. |
