RCAC 525 Pathfinder Squadron

525 Pathfinder Squadron

525 Squadron was formed in November of 1950, under the command of Flying Officer Bob McDonald. The Squadron rose to 70 members by 1955, and paraded at the Ambleside Headquarters Army huts, part of a W.W.II station supporting artillery defence of the Georgia Strait. At that time, regular parades were held on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm. The minimum age was 14 and girls were not allowed.
